For Denmark! I don't much like these characters who say they “want to preserve the Anglo-Saxon race” England was simultaneously invaded by two groups: 1) the angles, the Saxons and the jutes ! 2) Danish Vikings It was not until the Emperor of Sweden, who went by the name Swien, invaded and both groups accepted him as leader, that England was unified. Why no talk of preserving the Danish race? Don't Danes have the right to exist? My surname, Frazier, comes from a Norman invasion family who moved up to Scotland, and became an official Scottish Clan many years ago. Although there are strawberries on the family crest,the Normans had invaded northern France from Denmark just a generation earlier.The name of the islands off the coast of Denmark is the Frisian Islands --- I could be descended from a guy they called “The Frisian.” My Grandmother's maiden name was Wickham --”Viking Town”: So go Denmark! Live long and prosper!

Hello. Been gone for quite a while, but working on new stuff now.
Here are two new Larry Frazier releases:

an all-instrumental album --a best of Soundcloud and elsewhere collection

And a 'core dump' -- the best of about 5% of my songs with vocals over the past X years!

Enjoy!

New Meiko Indie 1 Video Version ii

Minute of good work, I hope. Audio is demo with MEIKO Vocaloid. Video is MikuMikuDance animation software, and Vimeo-found Creative Commons background video(see notes on vid).
Low-res Lucy is played on this, me on gtr and fretless, and I think I used Volca beats for drums ( or did I use a loop, or the Session Drummer w/step sequencer in SONAR?// The last, maybe some elements from the first two//)...
Enjoy!

Going to try Ad Sense, maybe.... but here's another thing I'll try;
If you find value in what is here, and it is practical for you, please leave a tip, via dogecoin! (I'll see if this works technically sometime): :)

I finally started troubleshooting "Clanger," and I'm making progress.
I seem to be hamstrung with too many interesting ideas and to little time and energy, though. Aside from getting the above working and for sale as a kit;
1.) get a Linn/Oberhiem sample data drum machine going on the new "Tiva" Launchpad from TI. The Stellaris code I found, http://forum.stellarisiti.com/topic/543-stellaris-drum-machine/ needs modification for the Tiva, and I'm having to learn the eclipse/Linux toolchain to get anything beyond "blinky" going on the Tiva.
2.) Get an ancient Xbox hacked open fully, to use it as a power supply for dcist's "CS-style VCO." http://itist.de/tag/cs-style-vco/ My earlier midi to cv for the MSP430 Launchpad project should drive it fine, with just a few code modifications.
3.) Update my old, half-finished VST plugins as soon as I receive the drive adapter to access the drive the original VC++ projects are (hopefully) on.
4.) Plow trough the 750-page Supercollider book to  try to get a handle on how to make interesting music with it, beyond just modifying examples.
5.) Put time into finding a part-time job as a music therapist, probably at nursing homes. I got a little ad-hoc experience at this two weeks ago, and I found it therapeutic, myself.

Any ideas or feedback?

Now for troubleshooting. This is "Clanger", basically a clone of the Boss DR-110 Cymbal/Hat section, but with more of a "Lunetta"-style input for the filter/envelopes. I still have time to get this "live" on Club Jameco, but I was pretty demoralized when I got it off of the solderless, boxed up like this, and no test plan when it didn't make a sound!

Project0 going. Used gedit, not the inscrutable vim. Next, I'll install eclipse. This thing is so many more capabilities than the msp G series lp----I hope I don't stall out on it thinking "could do this, could do that..."
